Troubleshooting
No Data Showing
- Verify your AWS credentials are correct
- Ensure the IAM user has the
ce:GetCostAndUsagepermission - AWS cost data can take 24-48 hours to appear for new accounts
- Check that Cost Explorer is enabled in your AWS account
Authentication Errors
- Double-check your Access Key ID and Secret
- Ensure the IAM user hasn't been deactivated
- Verify the access key hasn't been rotated
- Check for any IP restrictions on the IAM user
Delayed or Missing Costs
- AWS cost data is typically 24-48 hours delayed
- Some services (like data transfer) may have longer delays
- End-of-month data may take a few days to finalize
Slack Notifications Not Working
- Verify the webhook URL is correct
- Test the webhook using the "Test" button
- Check that the Slack app hasn't been removed from your workspace
- Ensure the channel the webhook posts to still exists
